How many times have you read those words?

How many of these opportunities have you tried or experimented with?

How many have you succeed with?

How many have you failed with?

But have you got what it takes?

Working from home is many peoples' dream. It was certainly mine, and I guess because you're reading this, it is also your dream.

Let me tell you that it is possible to find something that you can do to earn money working from the comfort of your own home. I work from home, and I earn a decent living following a few different avenues. I'll tell you what they are later, but they might not be suitable for you, as we're all different, and what excites me, may totally bore you.

Most ordinary people work in jobs they hate, for people of companies that don't really value them, and for a rate of pay that is only just average, if not less than average. These ordinary people like you and me desperately want to make changes. They want a better lifestyle, and they want better things for their children. They want the comfort, the nice house, the nice car, the nice clothes and foreign vacation each year. But life gets in the way, bills mount up, the stresses of daily life consumes them, and the dream remains a dream, never becoming a reality.

You can do it if you really want it

Some people search the Internet and the business sections of newspapers looking out for home working opportunities which promise fantastic weekly earnings, but sadly many of these turn out to be scams, or simply non starters. They wander from plan to plan, trying each for a few days, then moving on to the next. They expect overnight success. Well let me tell you that will not happen. It takes time to gain success, but you will get there if you really want it.

There is a major difference between just working from home, and getting rich working from home. You must ask yourself which of these you really want. If you truly want to run a modest home based business which will reward sufficiently to replace your normal job, then you must focus on that. If one the other hand, you are looking for a way to become rich working from home, then that is a totally different path that doesn't suit everyone. Sure we all like the idea of being rich, but it takes a certain mindset, and you have to acquire certain key skills, especially in the area of marketing. You can only really get rich by creating residual income. This basically means making money in your sleep, on the back of other peoples efforts. It's perfectly legal and is being done by thousands of people around the world. This is where my goals lie, and I am working on improving my skill set to fully achieve my targets in this area. By my estimations, I will reach the point where I can live from residual income alone within 18 - 24 months. I'll talk about this in more detail later, and it is very exciting and truly worth reading. Residual Income - Earn While You Sleep

Millions of people have already made the switch to home working, and the things they do vary greatly as do their earnings. Some people are only motivated by the satisfaction element, and just want to do something for themselves. The money is not their main motivator. They may have managed to achieve a dream by turning a life long hobby into a business. On the other hand, there are the people that are motivated by the money and some of them are creating income streams they could never achieved working FOR someone.

Only you know the type of person you are, and what your motivations are to work from home. Consider this...

If you continue to do what you're already doing in life, you'll only get back more of what you've already got.

In otherwords, if you really want to make some changes in your life, you have to start to do some things differently, or else nothing will change. So you must commit to whatever it is you want to do.

Make a deal with yourself and say something like, "Today I am going to start a succesfull .... business. I promise that I will put 100% effort into making my business a success. I will make sacrifices to make it work." Use your own words, but the important thing is to speak your commitment statement out loud. When you hear yourself speak it seems to mean more than when you just say the words in your mind. Try it and you'll see what I mean.
